Anda Venice
The design hostel, the result of a spectacular planning project that has given it a strong character and great originality, is located a few steps from the central station of Mestre (Venice). The environment is inspired by the typical widths of the industrial spaces, playing on funny chromatic contrasts that give an easy and international mood to the whole project. Awarded at the Hostel Awards 2019 as the winner of the Extra-Large category
Anda offers more than 110 rooms studied in detail with bathrooms, characterized by a high-tech minimalism, vaguely vintage, reminiscent of the interior of a space shuttle. This cinematic flavour is accentuated by the unconventional use of objects and furnishings that mix icons of Italian design, such as “Vespa” scooter, with American college corners, such as the fun coin-operated laundry. There are also many references to the nearby Venice, including life jackets that descend from the ceiling of the hall and surprising gondolas suspended in the main room. The usability and transversal nature of the spaces characterize many of the choices of décor, such as the beautiful industrial coffered entrance wall, designed to accommodate the bulkier suitcases of guests. The project leaves ample space for the common areas: an aperitif bar, a fully equipped island kitchen, a computer area and many socializing corners with tables and sofas both inside and outside. The hostel is a real experience, a creative and stimulating environment that invites to be lived and, without a doubt, remembered.
